Notes

First Flush Darjeelings are best infused at 2-3 minutes at the lower end of the temperature range

Early picking Chinese green teas should be infused for 2-3 minutes. Japanese Gyokuro should be infused for 1-2 minutes at 140-150 F

When using Gong Fu Cha method, Oolongs should be infused for less than a minute for multiple infusions.

 

 

When using Gong Fu Cha method, Pu Er should be infused for less than a minute for multiple infusions.

When using flavored teas for iced tea never increase the infusion time. Increase the amount of tea or decrease the amount of water for infusion.
